Poehling playing is huge especially since he was rested the majority of last weekend and unlike the rest of the team didn't end up playing nearly a game and a half Saturday night. Just score first tonight hopefully early, that's all I ask. I know we will have to win 3 tough games after today and winning today is fairly meaningless if we lose the next game but this entire team needs to get their first NCAA win tonight. It's amazing with all this Senior class has accomplished that it's possible it could all end with 0 wins when it counts the most. I don't feel like I will feel like this for the 2nd and 3rd round and I sure hope the players don't feel like I do but this is a big one tonight.

Finally game day, this has been the longest week of my life lol

HUGE to get Ryan-O back, he's absolutely a key piece for this team

Beyond stoked for tonight, we just need to play our game and take care of business, no distractions this year

It's all on the table now, GO HUSKIES!!

So excited for this game, need some redemption for the last two NCAA losses. I hope for a statement game, just play like they have been, and don't take their foot off the gas.

Worst period of the season, standing around, NOT Husky hockey.

Damn it...

WHY can't we get it done? We had everything this year and still lost right away :(

They basically looked like the Huskies for about 2-5 minutes of the 60 minutes.

It's not even painful anymore, OK watching it was but I've moved on sort of. I would like to fast forward through the rest of Bob's recruits and start the Larson era fresh for better or worse, but I look forward to having a reason to watch the NHL playoffs now with probably at least two Huskies contributing Not to mention Jensen and Chowolski in Washington. All 3 goals were total flukes. Just a dumb game all around. Lets sneak in as a 4 seed next year I'm sick of these teams with nothing to lose.

I don't even know what to say. That was hard to watch, I thought this team had what it took. I was wrong.

I'll miss the seniors, and I feel terrible for them. Sadly their legacy is NCAA failure, but they were so much better than that. Oh well, sneak in next year and win it all.

Pitiful effort. Carbon copy from the Air Force game. Seniors didn't learn anything. Should have been 4 or 5-1, shot disparity is misleading. AIC hit a couple of pipes and that one that went in a half second after the horn.

College hockey world is laughing at SCSU. Three games against 30ish-in-Pairwise teams, three eggs laid. Zero excuses.

I'm embarrassed to be a Husky fan/alum tonight.

Is it time to move from the Olympic size ice to NHL at home?

The shot that went in after the 1st period didn't even start until after the horn. I was pretty surprised he didn't get run. Husky defenders would of easily blocked that if they hadn't heard the horn and started skating off.

I'm guessing first round games will be played at home rinks before to long so no. I also think it's good for recruiting. Not to mention if the money to do it became available there would be better options. Maybe in 15-20 years when it's time to build a new rink.

This isn't a matter of Olympic ice vs. NHL ice. I'm waiting for the "bad ice conditions" excuse to emerge, wonder if the players will use that line.

Zero excuses.
