No they didn't mention what Jack did and neither(Jim Erickson or Mike Gibbons) wanted to go there. Mike Gibbons did say it was a healthy scratch decision a few hours before Saturday's game, I wasn't clear if it was by the coach or if the refs /league notified coach at that time.
Jim did work around it asking Gibby about the effect on the lines and the next one up mentality mentioned earlier.
At Saturday's game I heard he used language not tolerated, but no way to confirm.
I saw Fitzgerald, Kuster, Jack Poehling, Tyler Anderson all hanging out at the end of the game in the stands and at the skate with the Huskies.
Fitzgerald still has a sling on.

I had watched the end of the first period again on nchc.tv and didn't see anything. Just a faceoff and #24 cross-checking Nick Poehling in the slot. Jack was up by the point, he just casually skated towards some of the Miami players. Might have said something when they cut away. He had an interview between periods right after.

Tonight's show was about 10 minutes late, technical difficulties. Jim Erickson is still stranded in Des Moines. I can't remember if it was Dave Overlund spelling?? or Jay Caldwell sitting in - he did a good job.
Coach Larson talked about the bus incident, the UNO games and the upcoming series against W. Michigan.
Player guests were Brendan Bushy and Robby Jackson. They talked about the bus incident, Gibby's twitter going viral, jail was "fake news" only a rendezvous point "10 minute stop" according to Robby. They also talked about UNO Friday (not happy with their play) and Saturday (good 60 minute game, improved defensively). Talked about how fast W. Michigan is and looking forward to keep getting better and improving. Robby is excited to play in Kalamazoo in front of the Lawson Lunatics. Says Brendan might get some grief for being the biggest Husky player ( He said they went after Ben Storm). Brendan is a freshman so it will be his first experience, but he says he has a thick skin.

They talked about Easton's goal and Jeff's great glove save on the 3 on 0 - great pass by the W Mich goalie on a bad SCSU line change.
Jim Erickson asked Jeff about mentoring and playing with David Hrenak.
Erickson asked Easton about his brother Bryce and what it's like to experience the Minnesota State Hockey Tournament.
They talked about the comeback Friday night and how special and close this team has been.

Any update on Kevin Fitzgerald? No news at this point is bad news. I wouldn't want him stepping back in during the NCAA tournament unless other issues make us desperate.
