I wish I could make it to this series! Looking forward to the start of the season. Anxious to see how the goalie situation works itself out.

The games are on Charter channels SD121/HD826. I don't live in a Charter area, so can someone check for these channels in Cloud? Charter's TV guide shows them, but I'd like to know if they actually work so I can tweet out the channels. (also, if you're in Monticello/Lakeville area, I'd like to know about those too.)

I keep forgetting NCHC TV does me no good for this series. Hate to not see the first games of the year, I guess I'm a sucker and will throw the WCHA $20 or whatever it is for the day passes.

I have charter in St. Cloud and MSU programming channels are 191 and 826 HD (High Definition). They are currently showing a women's basketball game Minnesota State vs Upper Iowa.
191 is a smaller screen (box, black border) lower resolution. 826 fills the whole screen and is a higher resolution.

121 is the Science channel HD.

I was hoping to see Kato's updated barn, but their tickets are outrageous now. So, I'm in the same boat. I wish there was a series pass for a bit less ~$15. What would be great is if all the conferences would just unify under one package. I love college hockey, but I can't afford to pay $500 to watch all the teams. At least good teams like BU and QU have free feeds.

Tickets for Saturday night's game are $18 ea for adults and $11 for students.
Cheaper than SCSU (unless you want to count the family pack) but after Ticketmaster fees they avg $29.50 each.

I wish there was a way to bypass all these fees...

$6.80 Service fee on each ticket
$2.00 Facility charge on each ticket
$0.54 additional taxes on each ticket
Order processing fee $4.32
E tickets - FREE! ( I can't believe they promote this one, rubbing salt into the wound. )

Isn't there a way to report these guys to the better business bureau for exorbitant fees (63.8% markup)?
Probably should have just purchased at the arena- buyer's remorse. Only good thing was I could chose my seats.
They had a 2 for 1 promo code but I couldn't figure out anywhere on the webpage of how to enter it.

Should be a great game though!

Couldn't make the Friday game in time so I'll watch it on HDTV.

This is a big Series right out of the gate, an intra-conference matchup with an in-state rival on the road!

I'm nervous for sure, especially since you KNOW they have it out for us after we blanked them two straight last year at the HBNHC. They did KIND OF get some revenge when they potted 4 on Chuck in the NSC, but we still won that game and the Cup soooo...

Like the dudes on the Husky Hockey Podcast said, I think we're gonna see Smith and Driscoll each get a game this weekend to see what they're made of and if one of 'em can take the nets or we platoon it up this year.

Does anyone have experience using WCHA TV? I will not be able to watch the games this weekend at game time, is it possible to purchase a day pass on WCHA TV and watch archived games from earlier in the day or the day prior?

Day passes are $8.99 for just our game or $9.99 for the entire league. Last year we lucked out and played a game on a free preview I think opening the season in Alaska plus it was a late game so you could take advantage of watching other games. Like NCHC TV it's hit and miss from team to team as far as quality but Mankato does a real TV broadcast and has quality camera work.

Those tickets are a lot cheaper than I was told. A friend said that they were $48 for her. Maybe that was for a pair. Now I'm tempted to go for a drive on Friday night.
