Nah, this is one is worse in my opinion because they were warned after Thursday's riots. I hope the university follows up on its threats and expels anyone who was a student. Plenty of arrests and plenty of video/photo evidence to find the guilty.

College kids being college kids, I have a hard time being bothered by that especially when the school and cops dared them.

Agreed Rabid.

That fanbase continues to make themselves look like jokes, they riot after beating UND and now they riot 2 days later after being handled by Union. Plenty of UM fans are solid, but stuff like this just ruins it for everyone.

However; MASSIVE congrats to Union!!
So happy they won, and not just cuz they beat the goofs

Union was the first team I cheered for in the NCAA Tournament when I was getting into NCAA Hockey back in 2011-12; SCSU lost to UND in the Final Five and missed the NCAA's and I caught one of Union's NCAA games by pure luck and loved 'em; they were the small school underdogs making a Tournament Run, beating the big schools and looking awesome doing it!

Sorry, it's not college kids being college kids when they start destroying property. We made the Frozen Four, didn't hear anything about any riots here. And the school and cops telling them not to, then they still do is exactly why this is so stupid and why every one of them should be expelled.

Also, its kinda frustrating hearing about how Union was such an underdog, we saw them first hand here and we saw what they were capable of, the played awesome hockey when the time mattered and rolled through arguably 2 of the top teams in the country, they more than earned that national title and congrats to that program.

Maybe some casual hockey fans thought of Union as an underdog, but not many that follow college hockey. Very strong team the past several years. This was their second FF in the past 3 years. IMO, Wilcox was the only Gopher that could have turned the tide. He didn't, and Union schooled the Gophs.

Now we can listen how old and mature the Union players were, and how young and inexperienced the poor Minnie boys are.

Plain and simple--the better team won the national championship.

If these excuses come from the fans, fine, it's silly but thats what fans do. The fact Don Lucia the guy that decides who and how they recruit brought up the subject is why I can never respect anything about the Gopher hockey program.

Lucia has always been a baby and never seems to give props to teams that beat his teams. That is one of the things I like about Bob, he gives the other teams praise for playing well. He losess with Class and that class show's in the program he has built here.

Totally agreed with both you and mike.

Bob and this program are the definition of class.
I think that was best shown last year following our devastating loss to QU.

+7 in any game is impressive, you could just see he was a magical player anytime he was on the ice or had the puck on his stick, the play ill remember him by was the one where he played goalie in that goal mouth scramble, he stopped 4 shots from point blank, guy just has that will to do whatever it takes to win.
