You might be able to watch on http://ulive.cbssports.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. There is even a free week code: ULIVEFR33WKAFF1 If someone could give this a shot and report back, it would be much appreciated. The CBS Sports games are blacked out on all other feeds, including online streaming. We have two home and two road games that will be affected by this, so this might be a convenient way for some of us to catch the games without paying for a sports package.

Looks like their top three scorers are on that second line- I think Mellor used to play for Alaska Anchorage, I don't see Harrison in the lineup- looks like Hatten messed up and it should be Kenney Morrison...

I am SO pumped for this Series!

It's been like a month since we've had (meaningful)(Men's) Hockey in the Brooks Center!

AND it's a Red Out Game tonight on national TV! :D

Looking at the Series: WMU is one of the most penalized teams in the country, with one of their guys having 55 (FIFTY-FIVE) PIMs already. We need to capitalize on the Power-Play for sure, and we need to give Fedz some Goal and D support. But, with them picking up 3 (and nearly FOUR) Short-Handed Goals last weekend we ALSO need to watch what we're doing on the PP, last thing we need is for a sloppy pass to turn into a break and Shorty. Momentum = Dead.
Irregarless of how hot they have been (en fuego), we can still beat them! :)
Conference Regular Season Titles: 1987 (NCHA), 2013 (WCHA), 2014, 2018, 2019

WMU also draws more penalties than most teams. BUT SCSU shouldn't worry though about playing short handed because the Broncos have yet to figure out their power play. If they either do, look out :)

What the Huskey's do need to worry about is how the Broncos play. There is a reason they are one of the most penalized teams in the country and also one that also draws allot of penalties. When they are on their game, they are a hand full. I just wonder how effect their game will be on the "Big Sheet+.

Glad I wasn't at the game tonight something would have been thrown at the Western Michigan's coaches head as he came off the ice, what a classless jerk.

Start rant

That's a terrible performance tonight. No way that you can blow a 4-1 lead to a team like that at home on nat'l tv, with an engaged crowd, etc. Faragher didn't stop anything tonight; worst I've ever seen him play. You've played 9 home games and you've won three of them! Three home wins! You simply cannot be considered legit contenders if you don't protect your home ice, especially up by three against a team in the lower half of the standings. That was the most disgusted I've ever been leaving the rink tonight, and that's a shame because I do think it was an entertaining game. Boys have some *serious* work to do if they want to make the tournament.

End rant.

Actually they will make it probably even with .500 hockey the rest of the way, they do have 4 home ties which is a huge difference in the pairwise then if the shootout loss counted. At least early on there wins and ties were because they couldn't score. Giving up 3+ goals every game is inexcusable.

They've got some things to fix but the sky is not falling and it would take a serious collapse for them to miss the tourney. Faragher was bad and I wonder if Charlie gets a start tomorrow. PP certainly was clicking and the balance is still there. Fix a little leaky defense issues and we're fine.
Refs also let this one get out of hand and I don't know what the hell Western was trying too do on line changes before face offs but the refs were clueless in how to handle it. I hope Adam was watching.
