I am putting the over under at 2,000 butts in the seats. My guess is under?

Considering it's an exhibition, I'm sitting Dowd, Thorson and Brozd at forward, Gravel and Prochno on D and playing Phillippi and Reijola in goal. We have the depth, why risk injury?

Well let's hope no one gets hurt. I think it's also safe to say Phillippi and Reijola will never see ice time this year if they aren't even playing in this.

Looks like we survived intact. Yes it's an exhibition but they shook off the rust pretty quickly. Some pretty goals I wouldn't mind seeing repeated when the games count again.

You could certainly tell that it was a man vs boys game because we looked faster and stronger all night long.

Yeah. I was irritated at them trying to goon it up a bit late. I understand being frustrated when you are outscored 15-0 on the weekend and I get they are still just highschoolers but the lack of class from guys wearing the flag was annoying.

It was only an exhibition, but it was still a great game!

Benik with his second Career Hatty, plus an Assist for good measure; Kalle with an Assist Hatty; Dowd with ANOTHER Game-Winner; Shutout.

It's all good

There is something wrong with that USA team. They weren't very good, and they're poor sports. Goon it up at the end-totally tasteless. That's the worst USA Team that's been here. Poor representatives of USA hockey.

If im not mistaken, they had quite a few guys from their regular roster playing in the WJC, also they have a roster of over 50 kids, its not always about winning games with them as much as it is "developing" the players.

The US team does, but the under 18 squad doesn't have that many. They have 2 squads, U18, U17 that play in the USHL. Higher numbers are the U17 guys. Yes they were missing Eichel and Milano and they had been spanked by both us and UMD. Still no excuse for gooning it up.

I thought SCSU looked really good last night. I am excited for the second half.
Good defense, good support, controlled play plus very disciplined. USA looked out of sync and didn't really get anything going till the third for a little stretch. Both of our goalies were really communicating with the D and FWD's and leading breakouts. It was really nice to see Joey with the Hat trick and all of the scoring across the board-Milan, Brodz, Dowd, Morley and Tedesco with some beautiful setups. I thought Burrell and Belisle also played well. Great overall team win. USA seemed a step slow and we really controlled the boards and skill play.

What I liked was that our Huskies played like the champions they want to be. They didn't take them lightly, which would have been easy to do. It was a good warm-up for second half.
