It has the SCSU order form and the Minnesota WCHA Showcase at the X on Nov. 1st as separate brochures.

Nov 1st Xcel 2 games: $42 each ticket (lower level and club)

Looks like the Xcel seats will have 4 separate "fan blocks" and we'll just be assigned seats within the SCSU block, meaning there is no choice for sections...they are just assigned.

Another thing of interest. The Saturday, January 17th home game is at 5:05 p.m. at the NHC, as part of FSN's Hockey Day in Minnesota against the Gophers.

Let's do Minnesota proud like we always do and show them who the best college hockey fans in the state of hockey really are!

Oddly enough I never even noticed that (the 5:05pm start), that will be interesting. A game that the student section could be chanting "two more hours till the liquor store closes" Rather than 40 more minutes... or the very very rare... 10 more hours till the liquor store opens?, was that what it was that we started chanting that second game against UMD in the playoffs over a year ago?

Edit> No wonder I didn't notice, on the SCSU website it says 7:07pm, I take it the tickets say otherwise? I also checked the Roadkill's website and they said 7:07pm.

Out of curiosity, I went to Ticketbastard to see when the showcase tickets went on sale to the general public. FYI, it's September 29th. Just for $h!t$ and giggles, I tried to buy the presale tickets without using a password... didn't work. So, since it said "University of Minnesota" presale tickets, I tried the password "gophers". To my amazement, it worked!! So, I figured I'd continue through the process to see how good of tickets I could get at this point... first row section 119. Well, that's pretty freakin' good, so I went ahead and bought them. After fees, it was like $100 for two tickets. I'm still not sure if I'm going to use them or scalp them. Advice?

The free beer would be nice, but I don't know if it will be available. The profit margin isn't as good as Wild games. If you change the search parameters to "center ice", there were still options available in the tenth row. Don't be afraid to cheat!!

Tickets are also $200 on the glass for Wild games. I highly doubt people will get to go under the stands to the fishing lodge for this event.

I wonder where my seats are going to be for the showcase? I hope the tickets come in the same package as my season tickets.

For 18 husky fans? I ordered 8 for the showcase when I renewed my season tickets, but 2 are for hsuky fans, 2 are for Mav fans and 4 are for gopher fans. Nothing worse than having a Brother who is a gopher fan and a sister in law and brother in-law that are Gopher fans.
