Garret Roe is the fastest of the Purple Group forwards. He can't be any taller than 5'9" but damn this guy looks really good. Turned a couple of D-men inside out on moves during drills. Has an accurate shot that looks deceptively slow but seemed to find the back of the net pretty often.

Also, Roe practices his jock talk. Speaking without saying anything, truly an art form!!

I keep thinking I should have taken a guy's bet on the HF boards saying there is a 5% chance that Roe plays 50 NHL games. [/quote]
Yes, you should have taken that bet with odds!!

The only one to light the lamp was Team White’s Garrett Roe.
It's almost like it's something bigger than yourself.

Looks like Roe's not the only one making progress at Prospects camp....

Notice how Weslosky's team defeated down Okposo's team ;D

Speaking of that goal here it is about the 46:25 mark of the download...Roe is #40 of the white.

Washington Capitals prospect camp interview with Dan Dunn...

http://capitals.nhl.tv/team/launch.htm? ... &catid=208

I see Jase as the No. 1 guy again, but Motzko and Dahl for that matter I don't think ever has had two goalies drafted on the team at the same time. Should be interesting how he works his goalies this year. I've always been a fan of the non-roatating goalie system, but we'll see.

I think Jase will be #1 but I think Dunn sees more time this year and I wouldn't be surprised if a rotation is set up either this year or next year. It's up to Dunn to prove he's earned more time.

I see Dunn playing 10 to 12 games and Weslosky playing the rest. Of course things could change if Dunn plays well and earns more playing time.

Unless Jase plays terrible I don't see him at anything less than 50%-60% of the games. I'm guessing that similar to last year you will see Dunn get many chances in the non-conference games and the early league games. I'm hoping he does step up so we don't lose anything if one goalie gets hurt or hits a rough patch.

God we're small. If it comes to a street fight, outside of Lauridsen and Oslund, our goalies are the biggest boys on the team :D

Marvin would do alright, so would Hepp Rioux and Ryan.

We're not huge, but I expect we'll be more physical than last year.

I was going to say we are a hell of a lot bigger this year than last year. Our defense is actually quite big with Lauridsen, Hepp and Rioux.

We lost 5 guys last year 200 lbs or more (Stephenson, Mjelleli, Brocklehurst, Hartman, Dey)  and Nodl pushed 196 lbs. How are we bigger than last year?

Granted, some of those guys didn't play to their weight class.

Maybe not bigger, but more physical. You also have to look at the fact these guys have probably not been weighed for next season yet, all of them are listed at the weight they were last year. Marvin will likely be 200+ when he comes in same with Ammerman. These guys will be bigger and likely stronger when the official roster comes out.
