It would be a crime if these two didn't make it to the final 10. They're the two leading scorers in by far the best conference in college hockey. Garrett Roe isn't a bad choice either!

Lasch and Nodl should both crack the top 10. I think Porter wins it, but I see Lasch and Nodl gaining All-WCHA First-Team though with Roe on the 2nd team and All-Rookie.

Here's my prediction for the top ten...

1. Kevin Porter - Michigan

.

.

2. Nathan Gerbe - Boston College

3. Ryan Cruthers - Robert Morris

4. Ryan Lasch - HUSKIES!!

5. Ryan Jones - Miami

6. Jeff Zatkoff - Miami

7. Jack Hillen - Colorado College

8. Tyler Eckford - Alaska

9. Chad Kolarik - Michigan

10. Lee Jubinville - Princeton (token)

FYI, my current top ten would be different than this.  Sorry, no Nodl.  :(

If Hillen finishes higher than Nodl that would be an injustice

I know most are expecting Porter to win the Hobey, but if Lasch could at least finish in the top 3 that would be awesome. Hell, I'm not sure when the votes are finally tallied but if and only if we made it to Denver, I would say he has a chance of being the winner.

I think because Porter is head and shoulders above everyone you will probably only see one other Western candidate in the final three. You have to have someone from the East. I think that is Nathan Gerbe. With three goalies in the final 10 I think one of them will make the Hat Trick. My prediction for the Hobey Hat Trick:

1. Kevin Porter - Michigan

2. Nathan Gerbe - BC

3. Jeff Lerg - Michigan St.
