Kidrob: You need any tickets to watch Arnie and Finger play against Parrish? I've got a few left.
Boomer: Did you e-mail the Arnasons to let them know we'll be there in force? Make sure to mention Skeeterman arranged the group deal. i love those Arnasons.

Rookie, just buy tickets for the kids.
Jeff Finger was the #3 star in last night's shootout loss to the Ducks. He also smacked the irritating Scott Paulson in the nose, took out Carter on one of his patented "Finger Banging" checks in the boards, and scored a goal! He had 5 hits in the game--most for either team--and was mentioned often by the Ducks' announcers. He leads the Avs defensemen in goals and scoring.
He is also an unrestricted free agent at the end of the year, so will command a healthy contract by either the Avs or someone else.

Sounds like a perfect fit for the Wild blue line.

Actually Boomer, John-Michael Liles leads the Avs D in scoring. Finger has more goals (6-9-15), but Liles has more points (2-21-23)
It would be nice for the Wild to sign Finger, but if he's that valuable to the Avs I doubt we'll be able to get him.
Q & A with Finger from the Avs website.

Picky, Picky!
Yes, lots of teams could use Finger, but I agree, the Avs will want to keep him. He has become quite the crowd-pleaser in Denver. Great link--I don't usually look at the Av's official webpage, but at the message board. The average IQ on that is far less than here or USCHO!! ;D

Nodl scored his first professional goal in a 5-2 loss to Hershey Saturday. Ironically, Hershey's Andrew Gordon scored twice for the Bears.

Here's a cool list of not only all the current former Huskies in the NHL, but all the other former college players as well.
