Didn't Jensen and Conboy hate each other? :o

Let's face it, was there anyone who actually liked Conboy?

Arnason has been one of the hottest players in the NHL over the past couple weeks. 3g, 8a, 11 p past 6 games. Obviously he's picked up the slack with Sakic, and Stastny out.

Always great to hear from another Arnason fan!! From the Colorado site, Arny is leading the Avalanche in scoring since the middle of December.

Stastny, Sakic and Ryan Smyth have all been out of the lineup, yet Colorado is holding on in their division (same one as the Wild).

Skeeterman still has a few tickets remaining for the Wild-Avs game March 17 at the Xcel. You should go, Kidrob, so we can meet and compare Arnason stories.

Aren't we hosting a possible playoff game that night though??? ;D

A quick Arnie story though...I ran into him at Subway of all places at like 1:30 am his freshman year and he said he just came from a party at Matt Noga's house. Funny thing was I was at that party earlier in the evening and if I remember Noga was the one later in the year who left because Tyler was stealing his quality ice time away....

Like sands through the hour glass....So are the Days of our lives. ;)

Noga and Dahl didn't see eye to eye on things. I have heard a few different stories about that whole situation, but don't know which is the truth. I am guessing the truth is some place inbetween Noga really was a whinny baby and Dahl was a over barring want-a-be Herb Brooks.

No, March 17 (St. Patrick's Day) is on Monday. First round is March 14, 15 and 16, if necessary. Think of it this way: Huskies play the 14, 15, and 16 (2 out of three). Then, Wild-Avalanche game 17th. On March 19th through Mar. 21st, the Final Five! That's a possible 9 games in 9 days!!

Kidrob, you should know that Arnason never "stole" ice time from anybody!!

Ah, the good old days--Matt Noga, the "Noga-Toga" nights in the dog pound . . . *sigh*

I realize your joking but still when has a WCHA playoff game ever been played on a Monday? Even the women's games hasn't had that happened and there have been rare occasions of having a Thursday night game; not at the NHC but on the road.

Conboy and Borer recalled by Canes. Four Huskies on the Canes current roster. May as well have SCSU be Carolina's AHL team.... :D

Vintage Finger last night. He knocked Hinote out of the game against the Blues.

Was watching this game. A minute or two before the hit, ex-'Kato guy Dave Backes levels Ian Laperriere of the Avs. Fing did his usual "give the guy the outside" thing to Hinote--then stapled him to the boards.

Finger remains one of the best defensemen Colorado has. He also picks his spots for heavy hits in the NHL.

Curt Sauer is back playing for the Avs after a lengthy absence due to a concussion.

Tyler Arnason, as was mentioned earlier, is leading the Avs in scoring since the middle of December when the top forwards all went down due to injury.

Cullen is back from IR and played last night and picked up an assist as well as Conboy. Hedi was scratched, but Borer played. Would be fun to watch Carolina take on Colorado on Vs. someday with all the Huskies.

Jensen was called up today and played this afternoon but got sick during the game. Accroding to Allenspach's blog, the 4 huskies on one team is a record.

And as he says, just make them the Carolina Huskies :)
