And yet he was still in practice today with Brett. Must be leaving tomorrow or Friday.

Good day for Alumni, Noodles gets called up Grumpy gets signed and now so has Hedican.

He signed with the Ducks today

You know, I was thinking about something today, a lot of our former players still live in Minnesota, how cool would it be to have an alumni game?

Either a game against other alumni maybe in the summer or a game in September or something against the current year's Husky squad.

If they needed to raise money for the arena, I think you could charge say $5 a ticket and with the right advertising, potentially fill the place.

Great idea Rabid...BTW, Would Brian Gaffaney and Colin Peters be allowed to play in that game just so we can have someone to rib during the game? ;D

It would be fun to see, wonder if they'd play it like the women's Alumni games they've had the last two years though, meaning a running clock instead of actual stopages in play. Granted if they tried to do it in the summer they'd have to work around all the hockey camps that are on the ice from 8-8 nearly every day. Septemeber they'd have a better chance to be sure but you'd also run into the point of pro camps going on at the time.

So far so good...In the 3rd period the Flyers trail San Jose 5-4, but Nodl assisted on the Flyers second goal scored by Mike Richards.
