Just came to post that article!

I totally agree with Mick as well, Kalle is definitely the player we miss the most from the 2016 Senior Class; the dude quietly was one of the best players this team has had. :)

Nick Jensen scores his 3rd goal of the season on National TV. Hockey day America NBC. Detroit up 2-1 over Pittsburgh after one period.
Jensen scores on the rush
Nick Jensen flies into the zone on a rush, fakes a slap shot and deposits the puck into the twine to open the scoring in the 1st period
Kind of cool to see Nick Jensen and Matt Cullen go at each other.

National announcers talked a lot about Nick Jensen during the broadcast--VERY complimentary. He got a ton of ice time, played very well besides the awesome goal, and seems to be a good fit for Detroit when they will change things up over the off season. He was interviewed after the game on "On the Fly", a program hosted by Jamie Hirsch on the nationally televised NHL network. With Matt Cullen playing for the Penguins, SCSU Hockey got lots of mention! NHL network also replayed the World Juniors championship game this afternoon.
