Well, we pulled one out by the skin of our teeth... 6-5 over the Generals. Pretty good for having only two spare skaters. Looks like we play the Violators at 10:30 on Sunday. If we manage to beat them, we play for the American division championship. I don't know if we'll have to play the National division champion, right now it doesn't look like it.

BTW, it looks like the Violators are beatable, they only went 3-6-3 in the regular season. However, they are the only team to beat The Storm. They also gave Shame On Ice one of their only two wins. So, this team can go either way.

Rubes went 2-1 against the Metro Gophers.

Lost 4-2 ENG (first game of the season).

Won 5-1.

Won 4-1.

They had by far the worst offense in our division. They're pretty decent defensively, and they have a pretty good goalie.

I can't remember too much about them, except that they had about 15 skaters and ran 3 lines. Their large roster worked to our advantage, because the few really good players they had didn't see as much icetime.

I shudder at the thought of having to line up across from Neil Diamond.

I think he means Josh Singer. He isn't good enough to go pro, but should do fine in D division recreational.
