Rubes play the Ankle Benders. We beat them 7-6 a couple of months ago (if I remember correctly, we were down 6-4 going into the 3rd period of that game and came back to win it). They're a pretty good team when their ringers show up. Should be a good game on Sunday.

I think the Stickmen play after us, so I may stick around to watch you guys.

I'll come over to your locker room after our game. If you need a player, I can play.

with bacardio, doug and jeremy in our lineup we still managed to loose, ill blame it on myself and their goalie, there goalie showed up, i didnt...i guess i didnt play that bad but it just seemed the goals that went in werent that strong, 2 were deflections and the other two were decent enough i guess..

final score was 4-2, we were right there till the third, i think it was 2-2 going into the third...

it got chippy at the end but to be honest i think it was chippy on our part with a couple guys.

I can't speak for Jeremy or Bacardio, but I was friggin' exhausted from the Rubes game. I didn't have anything left in the tank for the Stickmen game and it showed.

I think the Icedogs are probably the best team in the league, so it would have been sweet if the Stickmen could have pulled off the upset last night.

I had plenty of energy, I was just not mentally in it. I made two dumb mistakes that cost us the tying and go ahead goal. I have all the determination in the world to play good and smart, but I still make the same mistakes over and over. A little frustrating. Nick, the first and last goals were no where near your fault. That first one was an absolute fluke and the last on Murph and I were screening you and then the shot went off of Murph's leg. You played very well, but like you said, their goalie showed up.

Rubes 4

Freeze 2

We were down 2-0 going into the 3rd period, but only because their goalie was playing unbelievable. Bacardio had 3 goals (including an empty netter at the end). Rubes play the Icedogs next Sunday @ 7:00 in the final.

Icedogs beat the Rubes in the final last Sunday, 7-3. Apparently the Icedogs are moving up to C League next session.
