I don't know whether or if they were only picking one or the other in this case.  All I'm saying is that it sounded like he was ready to give SCSU a verbal until MN showed interest.  Then, instead of being his second or fall-back choice he went to the purple cows instead.  Is this a case where we "l...

Hammy on GPL said his ACT scores weren't up to snuff, so MN hadn't made an official offer to him yet. Instead of retaking the test and trying to raise his scores he looked at other options. The early word was SCSU, but I guess he picked MSU instead. Doesn't mean we didn't want him. Apparently we did...

Got that email yesterday. Work is seriously hampering my attempts at being hammered before the game. I may be limited to slamming a few cocktails at Matty B's after we park the car.

Malone wore #12 one year, but he changed his number every year he was here: 15, 29, 12, 6.

Dubay was half-joking, but it's true. They have 4 third lines. None of their lines look overly daunting. They're deep in that regard and can play 4 lines often enough, but they don't have a line with top-end talent on it. Their leading scorer has 30 pts, whereas the Huskies have three players over 4...

True, but I thought since you were referencing Shooter's scribblings you would have mentioned it. Sorry, I'm bored today. ;)

It definitely wasn't a high stick on Carlisle. Before I thought it went off Swanson's skate, but it was Carlisle. Swanson was the one that brought it up ice. My old eyes are failing me. :)

The stick looks to be maybe waist-high, but when you watch the overhead replay Lasch's attempt doesn't even go in. He hits it off the crossbar or post, then it's directed in by Swanson's skate. Maybe that's why he waved it off, not the high stick. If he waved it off because he thought it was a high ...

NHC best and worst music played
