He only played 3 years at Michigan Tech does the 5 year grad transfer rule mean he can play 2 more?

Mike gibbons announced his retirement tonight. Good move rather then work hard on the hope there will be a season next year.

To be honest I was so ready for this season to be done I was happy the way it ended. Pairiwise math is looking pretty iffy at this point, If they somehow win something like 7 of 8 maybe they get on the bubble, but short of NCHC playoff's this is now a development year.

At this point I think without drastic change from the next head coach the Gopher Hockey program is what it is a 2nd tier program who can't say no to individual talent. Bob has no chance with that program.

I felt their was some major embellishment on both calls. I suppose they figured if the glass can explode two planes down from q hit why can't they do the same thing.

I have no doubt this team has guys who can put picks in the back of the net, but the issue is finding some playmakers. Hopefully we find the next pat Newell quick. I guess an opening night road tie is an ok result. Build off it.
